Helen Mitchell, CMP, MA
Helen Ingram Mitchell owns The Meeting Advisor, Inc., a meetings and event management company. She works with select clients planning and conducting meetings/conferences around the globe. She received her master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in Los Angeles, California. As a result of pursuing her passion in Spiritual Psychology, she is creating new experiences for women in a newly launched venture, Re:FRESH.
When not planning meetings, speaking, or hosting Re:FRESH events she trains individuals in the fine art of etiquette. She parlayed her education and training expertise to etiquette and protocol. Professionally, she has conducted training programs, managed the continuing medical education department for the American College of OB/GYN, as well as managed the meetings department for Georgia Pacific Corporation based in Atlanta. She travels extensively for corporate meetings and conventions. Currently, she is focused on developing soft skills in women ready to work inside themselves. Elevating awareness and living life with joy and celebration.
Helen’s Professional Affiliations are Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), M.A. Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology, Certified Etiquette Consultant—certification in etiquette training from The American School of Protocol in Atlanta. Other accomplishments and achievements are Etiquette trainer for Elite Women of Excellence –mentor program, Etiquette trainer for Holy Innocence School, she has served on the Board of PCMA and recognized for accomplishments in the industry and named Meeting Planner of the Year.
Helen Ingram Mitchell attended Delaware State College and graduated most recently from the University of Santa Monica, Los Angeles. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Helen is a lifetime member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and she served as local chapter President, Regional Protocol Chair and selected Mother of the Year. She is a member of the Links Incorporated, in the Buckhead Cascade City Chapter in Atlanta. She is actively involved in a local book club, several social organizations, and volunteers throughout the community in various service activities. She also serves on the Executive Board as Secretary for the Sophisticates and served as Vice President of her local chapter.
Helen is married to Eric G. Mitchell, they have three adult sons, Kevin, Bryan and Tyler Mitchell; Tyler their youngest son is the first African American to photograph the cover of the 2018 September VOGUE issue of Beyoncé and has a permanent showing in the Smithsonian.
