Pastor of Discipleship

Pastor Kasey Whitney is a native of Los Angeles, California. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Communication and Public Relations from California Status University Dominguez Hills and a Masters in Divinity from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University.  While she was in seminary at Talbot she became an Executive Assistant at Faithful Central Bible Church (FCBC) and in less than a year she was promoted to the Pastor of Women.  After serving several years she was ordained at FCBC, and promoted to the Pastor of Discipleship Groups and became part of the Executive Team.  Just when she thought she had hit a ceiling she was promoted again, and her current position of Pastor of Discipleship Central where she is in charge of all things related to discipleship!  She oversees agerelated ministries such as Jesus and Me (JAM) for children, God First (G1) for Middle School, the Source for High School, and Seniors on the Move; Small Groups, Rites of Passage, Champion Recovery, and the Intercessory Prayer Team.  


Pastor Kasey’s background as a community advocate in the civil and government arenas help her to be known as a result-oriented servant-leader with a strong ability to listen, advise, encourage and support others toward personal and spiritual growth and formation.  She is currently pursuing her D Min. with an emphasis on Discipleship at Biola University School of Spiritual Formation. With a heart for discipleship, she helps others see their personal and spiritual potential during and after their salvation journey
