Taje Moreno M.A.
Taje Moreno is a registered mental health professional specializing in trauma and marriage and family therapy. He is also currently receiving his Doctorate Degree in clinical psychology. Taje has faced trauma and obstacles growing up in South Los Angeles where racism, gang, and drug culture were part of his everyday life. Being raised mostly by his single mother, she instilled in him a willingness to survive. After almost losing his life to the streets and having kids of his own, Taje made the decision to change his life and help others do the same which brought him to the psychology profession where he has helped many from his community in Compton to better their lives and move towards a more positive direction. Taje has also worked with celebrities such as Dame Dash, the late great Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, and many more on his journey. He is Hip Hop’s favorite therapist making appearances on national television on shows such as “Growing Up Hip Hip Hop” on W.E. T.V. and currently hosts his own television show called “Healing is Gangsta” showcasing the therapeutic journeys of ordinary people and celebrities alike.
His commitment to his own healing and the healing of others has gained him much respect in the world of psychology, the entertainment industry, and within the community and culture, he represents proudly.
