As a part of the benefits and mental health team at Google, Terrilyn is focused on enhancing the wellbeing and mental health of employees; managing a suite of digital health solutions and employee assistance programs. Prior to Google, she developed and delivered organizational-wide wellness programs to over 2,000 city government employees in the DC area; but not before spending 4 years as the Wellness Manager for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama and St. Vincent’s Health System. At Honda, Terrilyn led the operations of the wellness program for over 7000 associates and spouses; working to improve associate health by developing strategies and programs to reduce work-related injuries, improve associate engagement, and reduce health risk factors and associated medical costs.
Terrilyn has also served as a program administrator for UAB HealthSmart, a University of Alabama at Birmingham multidisciplinary wellness facility. She was responsible for designing and executing health promotion programs related to chronic disease prevention. Other previous work includes grant-funded research in cancer prevention and health behavior. Terrilyn holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist and Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager. She is currently pursuing an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
